Vintage Twinkles the Elephant Cereal Frame Tray Puzzle 1962

Offered is a Twinkles the Elephant Frame Tray Puzzle. Twinkles was the advertising character for Twinkles Cereal made by General Mills. This frame tray puzzle features Twinkles and his Parrot and Monkey pal. They are painting a bowl of fruit. This frame tray puzzle is copyrighted 1962 General Mills Inc. It's a Whitman puzzle and is number 4428. This frame tray puzzle measures about 14 1/2" x 11 1/2". It reads "For Developing Coordination and Motor Control". This Frame Tray puzzle is not in that great of condition. It has old cellophane tape holding the edges together. I see two puzzle pieces repaired with tape. There are some paper tears to a few puzzle pieces. (see pic). This is a rare puzzle though, and quite worthy to be in one's collection. A neat, vintage cereal advertising puzzle to add to your collection.
