    Description

MAGE KNIGHT minis; TROLL ARMY (x14); Various Trolls / Half Troll variants.
This auction is for a set of 14 figurines. They include Troll / Half-Troll variants. Trolls are considered large brute-like creatures of low intelligence. Well these trolls are ... sort of like that, except some are half-trolls, and when put together in an army, let's just say that they are smarter than your average troll. Specifics follow:
The "Medicine-Man" (or woman in this case) of the troll world. These are basically the healers who run around patching up the trolls on the battlefield.
from Dark Riders set; c2004; LEECH TROLL; #009; x1
from Dark Riders set; c2004; LEECH TROLL; #010; x1
These are your basic infantry of the troll world. Not too bright, but with their clubs and brute strength, they can smash, grind, and pulverize their way through the average army ranks.
from Lancers set; c2000; TRIBAL BRUTE; #070 (yellow) x2
from Lancers set; c2000; TRIBAL BRUTE; #071 (blue) x2
from Lancers set; c2000; TRIBAL BRUTE; #072 (red) x2
Smaller than their Brute Cousins, these half-troll, half-human (or half-something else) guys lack the full strength and height of the other trolls, but they make up for it in being a little bit smarter in their fighting. Plus with their freakishly longer arms, they have a better reach in hand to hand combat.
    from Rebellion set; c2000; HALF-TROLL HACKER; #118 (yellow); x2
    from Rebellion set; c2000; HALF-TROLL HACKER; #119 (blue); x1
This is the guy the other Trolls fear ! Somewhat of a mad berserker troll. He doesn't need a weapon, he just rips the nearest tree out of the ground and swings it around smashing everything in sight. He's the tank of the troll world. He is the last sight many armies see when encountering him on the battlefield. The smarter soldiers just run away or keep out of range of this guy.
from Mage knight 2.0 set; c2003; TROLL SMASHER; #082; x1
Imagine a Troll Smasher. Now imagine he is of normal or maybe even somewhat higher intelligence. Imagine he is skilled in combat and use of a sword. Now imagine him on a battlefield with a 7 or 8 foot long sword. That's who this guy is. Oh, and imagine during battle he sometimes goes crazy with bloodlust. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
from Omens set; c2005; TROLL BERSERKER; #037; x1
This guy is basically the camp cook (and a pretty decent one at that). During battle he tends to run around the field sampling various bits and parts of "leftovers"; you know, things like Horse parts, human parts, basically any non-troll parts (they are not cannibals you know!). And some of those parts might end up in the dinner pot for that evening. This guy tends to stay out of battle, but if pressed, he does swing a mean (and large!) meat cleaver.
    from Uprising set; c2003; HALF-TROLL GORGER; #054; x1
Some other figurines (a human-sized squire) appear in the screenshots - these are just to provide size comparisons against the trolls, and are not included. The figurines are in good condition. Nothing broken or busted that I could see. They have basically been stored for years in boxes. That said, they are not new, but used, because I bought them as used many years ago, and just stored them away. I did a massive inventory of my stuff recently and pulled these off as spares.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am selling other figurines (mostly Mage Knight and D&D Minis), so take a look at my other auctions. I will combine shipping if you win more than one auction. Shipping is a flat .25. Thanks.
