    Description

Mage Knight / D&D Minis; GOBLIN ARMY with HOBGOBLIN SERGEANTS.
This auction is for 21 Mage Knight and D&D figurines - all GOBLIN types.
    STATS:
D&D MINIS: THESE COME WITH CARDS:
    - from Giants of Legend set; c2004; HOBGOBLIN SERGEANT; #32 of 72; x2
These guys are bigger and meaner and smarter than their Goblin cousins. Good thing too! Someone's got to keep them tiny goblins focused in a fight, and jump in whenever some puny adventurer starts stompin' on the little guys.
    - from the Dragoneye set; c2033; GOBLIN SKIRMISHER; #31 of 60; x2
These guys do what they do best - skirmish! They run around with little pokey sticks (they call them "spears"), and stab at the enemies legs and other exposed parts that they can reach. Any wise adventurer would run away from a small pack of these guys, just sayin'.
    MAGE KNIGHT MINIS:
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN VOLUNTEER; #046 (yellow) x3
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN VOLUNTEER; #048 (red) x1
These guys were "volunteered" by their Hobgoblin Sergeant to join the battle. They were given a "helmet" (actually the sawed off top part of some animal skull), a pointy sword (we would call it a "dagger"), and then shoved into the battle. Normally these guys would be the trash pickup detail scrounging the battlefield for leftovers after a battle. But hey! In a pinch, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN GRENADIER; #038 (blue) x1
These guys are surprisingly effective. They make these little explosive thingies, and if they survive the making process, they get to throw them at the enemy. Mostly their devices are used to set buildings on fire so that the enemy leaves in a panic, and then the goblins outside tear them apart. Occasionally they get lucky and one of their concoctions actually makes a big BOOOOM !
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN ARCHER; #043 (yellow) x1
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN ARCHER; #044 (blue) x1
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN ARCHER; #045 (red) x1
The "smarter" goblins. They use the distance weapons to attack the enemy. They call them arrows, we would call them "toothpicks". However these guys are very accurate, and a toothpick in the eye still causes a lot of damage... .
    - Omens Set; c2005; GOBLIN RAIDER; #077 (yellow) x1
    - Omens Set; c2005; GOBLIN RAIDER; #078 (blue) x1
    - Omens Set; c2005; GOBLIN RAIDER; #079 (red) x1
These guys form the main core of your goblin raiding party. They usually hide outside while the Grenadier sets the settlement houses on fire. When the inhabitants run screaming outside, these guys take over hacking and whacking their way at anybody who gets in their way. They steal the shiny trinkets. They are not too bright however, and sometimes they run into the burning buildings to loot. Let's just say that there is a high turnover rate in their ranks, and they promote rapidly. They easily get from private to corporal, but its extremely rare that any of them reach something approximating the rank of sergeant.
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN CANNIBAL; #040 (yellow) x1
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN CANNIBAL; #041 (blue) x1
    - Lancers Set; c2000; GOBLIN CANNIBAL; #042 (red) x1
These guys are truly terrifying. They are the camp cooks ! They run around (usually after the battle, but sometimes during), and hack off parts and stuff from both the living and dead. Whatever they hack off ends up in that evening's meal. They don't like to waste anything, so sometimes (ok, all the time), they even toss in their dead comrades into the cooking pot. Their comrades don't seem to mind... .
    - Uprising Set; c2003; GOBLIN RUNNER; #026 (blue) x1
    - Uprising Set; c2003; GOBLIN RUNNER; #027 (red) x1
These guys are in great shape - for running. For combat, not so much. They run messages between different teams of goblin units during a battle (who knew that goblins could rede and rite?). Most of the time though, they are used as the Goblin Amazon delivery service - delivering packages and mail between goblin outposts... .
    - Pyramids Set; c2002 PHREGGS #088; x1 UNIQUE
This guy is an oddball Unique Hero. Half-Orc, half-Goblin, but much smarter than either. He originally supervised (and by supervised, I mean he did the actual work) the digging of ditches and latrines for the Goblin Army. One day, his squad attacked a group of adventurers that stomped the living &#%! out of them. Phreggs was the only one left. He plead for his life, and the adventurers adopted him as their mascot. Turns out though that all that digging actually turned into a valuable skill for underground adventures in dungeons, caves, etc. Phreggs can read a passageway pretty well, and know if it's safe to traverse or not. He is also pretty good at finding traps (not so good at disarming them though). His small size is a great asset for squeezing into those tight places to get into hidden rooms or lairs. His preferred weapon is a shovel. Over the years, he has amassed quite a bit of treasure and stuff, and has earned his traveling companions respect. Phreggs has a sticker (listing his hit points) that used to be on the bottom of the figurine, but it came off (cheap glue). However, I am providing the sticker with the figurine.
The figurines are in very good condition. Nothing broken or busted that I could see. They have basically been stored for years in boxes. That said, they are not new, but used, because I bought them as used many years ago, and just stored them away. I did a massive inventory of my stuff recently and pulled these off as spares.
Let me know if you have any questions. I am selling other figurines (mostly Mage Knight and D&D Minis), so take a look at my other auctions.  I will COMBINE SHIPPING if you win more than one auction. Shipping is a flat .00. Thanks.
