    Description

A lovely mystery piece. No marks, or stickers- just a polished pontil. This shallow bowl has a solid black exterior with a lemon yellow interior; it looks very much like
    Tango glass
pieces others attribute to Czech glass makers: Loetz, Kralik, and Ruckl.
Some people attribute this type of design to Michael Powolny, so I mention it here, but unfortunately there are no marks that I can see on this piece to confirm this. The bowl measures 2.5" tall, the rim measures 9.75" in diameter. At its widest point, the diameter of the bowl is 10.25", and the base measures 6.75". The bowl weighs 2lbs. It's in great vintage condition with just light surface scratches on the base (and very few on side) consistent with its age. This will be shipped for free within the contiguous 48 states.
