The Royal Mint continues its celebration of legendary British music and their makers with this release honoring The Who. The Who was formed in London in 1964 with members Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle, Keith Moon and Pete Townshend. Early on, the group performed at history-making events such as the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 and at the Woodstock Rock Festival in 1969.
The Who 2021 dated coin is the fourth release of the Music Legends series.
The coin is crafted from 28.28 grams of Copper-Nickel (CuNi).
The coin measures 38.61 mm in diameter.
The coin is sealed in the original Mint packaging.
Exciting Pinball Wizard Themed Design
Obverse: The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is positioned on the obverse, surrounded by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "D.G. REG. FID. DEF.," "5 POUNDS" and "2021." The portrait was created in 2015 by acclaimed sculptor/engraver of The Royal Mint, Jody Clark.
Reverse: The reverse features a Rickenbacker guitar with a Union Jack graphic on the surface. The guitar is stylized with paddles to represent a pinball game, as its neck actively smashes through a speaker stack to reveal "THE WHO" logo over the Mod symbol.

If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in an unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange.  All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number. Refunds of non-bullion items are for the cost of product only; shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless otherwise stated by Company.
